Q. Do I need to bring my own equipment?
A. Yes. You will need to provide all essential scuba gear, except weights. All divers should
carry a primary light. Rental gear can be arranged with advance notice. See the price
list here.
Q. Are reservations required or can I just show up to dive?
A. Charters fill up quickly so reservations are recommended to guarantee your charter
date
and time. Walk-up divers are welcome and will be able to board if any seats
are
available.
Q. Is there a parking or park entrance fee when I dive with Lake Travis Scuba?
A. No, there are no parking or park entrance fees when diving with Lake Travis Scuba.
Park in the designated area next to the blue building and apply the Lake Travis Scuba parking sticker issued by the shuttle driver to your windshield.
Q. Is there a bathroom on the boat?
A. A bathroom is available at Windy Point Dive Park. It is recommended to use the
facilities in advance of the charter since we will not be able to return until the charter
is over.
Q. Is there an air fill service on the boat?
A. There is an airfill service available at Windy Point Dive Park. Tanks can be filled before
or after the charter. The shuttle driver can take you to the air fill station.
Q. Do you allow a diver to solo dive?
A. For your safety, all divers must have a buddy to make the dive, unless you are
solo certified. Diver must present solo certification card before dive.
Q. What if I miss the scheduled departure time?
A. In order to maintain the charter schedule for all guests the boat will depart promptly
on time. You should arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure
time. See our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
Q. Will the charter operate in the event of bad weather?
A. In the event of bad weather the charter will be cancelled and another charter will be
rescheduled at your earliest convenience.
Q. Can you accommodate double tank divers?
A. Yes. Each diver seat offers two-tank support. Additional air tanks for technical diving
can be stored, although it may limit the number of divers due to weight restrictions. Arrangements should be made ahead of time.
