Lake Travis Scuba provides transportation to a variety of dive sites on Lake Travis
aboard THE GIANT STRIDE, a 30-foot Pontoon Boat customized for scuba diving.
The boat has many special features and amenity updates to make your excursion
comfortable, safe, and enjoyable:
- 8 Diver Stations with two tank holders and equipment storage
- Dry Storage area
- Canvas enclosure for sun shade in summer and warmth in cooler weather
- Fresh water Rinse Sink & Countertop Burner
Avoid the dirt and additional effort required of shore dives! Divers and their
gear are shuttled from the unloading/loading area to the dock and back.

safety stop hang bar with a surface-supplied emergency air regulator.
Lake Travis Scuba is a member of SeaTow boat emergency service.

Robert Weiss established Lake Travis Scuba in November 2007. He has been a certified
diver since 1988 and is a seasoned PADI MSDT/Instructor. His specialties include Boat
Diver, Enriched Air, Night Diving, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation,
Underwater Videography, Underwater Digital Photography, and Equipment Specialist. Robert
is a certified American Heart Association CPR Instructor, PADI Emergency First Responder
instructor, and a Diver Alert Network member. In his spare time, he volunteers with
Aquarena Center Diving for Science, Eels on Wheels, and Ride On Center for Kids (ROCK).
